This medium offers a high-gloss finish specifically designed for oil and alkyd paintings, enhancing the longevity of the artwork. By sealing the microscopic pores in the oil paint film, it provides protection against dirt and grease while achieving a consistent high-gloss appearance. The finish can be removed using Distilled Turpentine for re-varnishing purposes. It is essential to wait until the painting is fully dry, which may take between 6 to 12 months, before application. Additionally, it should be applied in warm, dry conditions and is not intended for use as a medium.
