Watercolor brushes are delicate, as they are softer than other types of brushes. We often buy them with a sharp point, only to see the shape deteriorate quickly. However, proper care can extend the life of your brushes and enhance your painting experience.
How to care for your brushes:
-
Wash your brushes with warm water.
-
Dry your brushes horizontally to prevent water and paint residue from seeping into the ferrule.
-
To restore the shape of your brush, use ENL Watercolour Brush Restorer:
-
Dip the brush into the solution.
-
Gently reshape the bristles with your fingers.
-
Remove excess product with a soft tissue.
-
ENL Watercolour Brush Restorer is made with Arabic gum, mimicking the “glue” used by manufacturers to shape brushes before sale, but it’s much gentler.
Ingredients: water, Arabic gum, glycerin, honey, and clover essential oil.
It is NOT a watercolour medium.
