Free online watercolour workshop for beginners with Elena Nahum Leroy.

A lot of artists choose watercolour as a medium to begin with and have many questions regarding techniques, materials and use. We decided to offer a free introductory workshop on watercolour main techniques and show some useful tips on mixing colours.

It’s free, online and scheduled August 11 (Thursday), 2022, 8pm EST.

If interested, please register by email elena@rusart.ca and we’ll send you a link to the ZOOM conference with a password.

If you want to follow what we’re going to work with there, please prepare:

  • 3-4 watercolour paper sheets
  • 2-3 cups of clean water
  • paper towels or Kleenex
  • Soft round brushes size 3 and 8, flat wide brush, one any synthetic medium hard brush (like for acrylic)
  • Watercolours in pans (12 basic colours)
  • Cardboard of paper size or larger and tape
  • Pencils and eraser

It’s a demo workshop, meaning I’ll be showing and explaining techniques, but I’m not checking what’s going on with your work in progress. However, you’re free to ask questions.
