White Nights watercolours by Nevskaya Palitra—sold in full pans—are also known on the market as Leningrad or Petersburg, and are often misspelled as White Knights. Their name, White Nights, is inspired by the natural phenomenon in St. Petersburg, where summer daylight lingers so long that true night never arrives.
