Stencil Butter is a rich, spreadable medium with a beautiful shimmer and shine that glides smoothly across surfaces when applied with a palette knife. It has the consistency of a soft modeling paste, allowing it to hold peaks and valleys for added texture and dimension, and it cleans up easily with water—tools should be rinsed immediately after use.

The colors can be mixed together to create custom shades, offering endless creative possibilities. Perfect for spreading through TCW stencils, finger-painting, brush-painting, and a variety of mixed-media techniques, Stencil Butter blends beautifully with other colors as well as with TCW Metallic Pastes and other mixed-media products.

Available in convenient 2-ounce jars, this medium dries within 15–30 minutes, depending on thickness of application. Ideal for use on watercolor paper, mixed-media boards, canvas, wood, and other porous surfaces that are not exposed to moisture.
