ENL Coarse Primer creates very textured surfaces on paper, cardboard (we have a special one for this goal), wood, canvas, plywood, plaster, stone etc. Originally this primer was designed for soft pastel drawings, but this medium can be successfully used for other mediums:
- oil
- acrylic
- soft pastel
- oil pastel,
- charcoal
- mixed-media
How to use ENL Coarse Primer?
Use ENL Coarse Primer for the initial rough coat. Apply this medium with a pallet knife, rubber brush or rubber roller. If you’re planning to keep the surface rough, please apply 2 layers f this medium and provide 24 hours between applications and another 24 hours for a complete cure before use.
If you want to achieve a softer abrasive surface, after the first coat made with ENL Coarse Primer apply our Fine Pumice Medium for the more delicate finish (if needed).
