Kolinsky is a trading name for a natural brush bristle with very fine tips and soft hair. It’s ideal for almost every medium, including oil and watercolours. Most precious details usually are painted with Kolinsky sable brushes.
This kolinsky sable is considered to have the best hair in the world due to its unique characteristics. The maximal thickness of hair is 0.15mm, which can be compared with the thickness of hog bristle, and a tip is very fine, like a squirrel’s one.
The handle is short and has a special shape for a more comfortable grip. You’ll appreciate these premium-class brushes.
