ROSA Gallery: Artist Oil Paints, 45 ml

Rosa Gallery oil paints have linseed stand oil as a binder that prevent paints from separation into pigments and oil. Any artit knows that such separation happens very often when light oil (such as linseed oil, walnut oil or poppy seed oil) binds pigments. Stand oil brings gloss finish and makes working in alla prima technique more enjoyable.

Stand oil is a product of polymerization of linseed oil with heat and low air flow. Linseed oil treated this way doesn’t yellow with time, but dries a little bit slower.

Paint colours were developed in collaboration with professional artists who were choosing colours based on their properties and performance, without knowing pigments used. Although, cadmiums and cobalts are hues, not real, ROSA Gallery colours will impress you with their intensity and performance.

Pigments used in Rosa Gallery paints with stand oil are quite different from what North American companies are using, so these paints can be a good addition to your palette.
