Old Holland New Masters Gesso

Old Holland New Masters gesso and primer has brilliant white colour and comes in  500 ml plastic jar.

Old Holland Gesso and Primer is a universal lightfast primer that you can use on a variety of surfaces:

• linen canvas,
• cotton canvas or other cotton fabric
• paper
• wood and wooden boards
• plywood
•  stone.

If this gesso seems too thick feel free to dilute it with water, up to 20% by volume. Apply Old Holland New Masters Gesso in multiple layers and provide  3 to 4 hours of drying time between applications.

As a primer, this Old Holland gesso works well for acrylics, oils, watercolours, and tempera. You can also mix it with Old Holland New Masters Classic Acrylics colors.
