ENL Brush Cleaning Soap combines traditional French recipes with modern chemistry for a superior cleaning experience.

What makes ENL brush cleaning soap special?

It works—this isn’t just any soap with a fancy label. Formulated by Elena Nahum Leroy for her personal use, it’s now shared with fellow artists. The soap base is free from alcohol, surfactants, and foam boosters like SLS and SLES.

Made with 1/4 Sommieres Earth, a natural French clay powder,  it effectively removes oil, paint residue, and solvents. Olive oil, another key ingredient, aids in cleaning and conditioning brushes.

ENL soap also doubles as a stain remover—simply wash paint stains on fabric with warm water before machine washing. It’s effective on fresh paint, though less so on dry acrylic or oil.

Key Features:

  • 100% vegetable base
  • No artificial colors, surfactants, or harmful chemicals (like Propylene Glycol or SLS)
  • Neutral pH (8.0 – 9.0)
  • Natural cedarwood and rosemary scent from essential oils (no artificial fragrances)

This natural, gentle cleaner is perfect for both brushes and fabrics.
