Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic Paints are high viscosity professional acrylics. All these makes this acrylic paints ideal for impasto and textured techniques. With a high concentration of artist-quality pigment and a satin finish, Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic gives you rich, permanent color. Your brushstrokes will look  crisp and palette knife will leave predictable marks.
The low-odour acrylic resin base in Heavy Body represents the latest in acrylic resin technology. That gives you increased open time as well as more clear and vibrant colours with minimal wet-to-dry shift. The paint film is highly flexible, durable and non-yellowing. Once dry, the layer becomes UV-resistant and water-resistant.
Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic Paints are also safe to use. Heavy Body colors are independently tested by the Art and Creative Materials Institute at Duke University, and hold the Approved Safety (AP) safety seal. This means they are certified to contain no materials in sufficient quantities to be toxic or harmful to humans or to cause health problems.
