KOLOS Mongoose Imitation Brushes, Filbert

KOLOS Mongoose Imitation Brushes (1117 series) have medium soft but still springy hair. Hair is synthetic and is stiffer than Kolinsky imitation, but softer than hog bristle imitation. KOLOS is a brand of quality and affordable artist brushes by ROSA (Ukraine).

These mongoose imitation brushes work well for all soft and heavy-body mediums, such as oil, acrylic, tempera, gouache. Hair length is shorter than in standard brushes, which makes blending softer and more enjoyable. Shorter hair also provides a better control over brushstrokes and lines. Filbert shape is quite universal as it combines benefits of round and flat brushes.
