Kolibri, Synthetic Squirrel, Round, Quill, 1220 series

Kolibri’s Quill Watercolor Brushes are meticulously crafted by hand in Germany, using high-quality synthetic squirrel imitation material. The tufts of these brushes are firmly attached to the wooden handle with a synthetic quill and secured in four spots with brass wire. These brushes are designed to hold a significant amount of watercolour paint, providing excellent control and precision. When wet, the brushes form a flawless tip for precise and detailed painting.

Compared to other brands we carry, the fibre is more elastic and stiffer than squirrel imitation brushes by Borcianni and Bonacci, Roubloff, Rosa or Neptune. It holds the pointy tip well for the size, but may not be that precise after some use.
