A full overview of what watercolours are made with you can find in special articles. Let’s stop at the main factors that make watercolour genuine and quality. Generally speaking, any watercolour would have the following components:
The best paints have more pigment, the right amount of binder, plasticizer, humidifiers and preservatives. These ingredients are essential for any watercolours. Lower-grade paints may look the same, but they will have more fillers, and tints instead of pigments or low-quality pigments.
We released our first watercolours in Sep 2020. More colours are coming up as soon as the testing process is finished. And for now, we’re happy to offer our soft and dry watercolours for professional artists.

“Excellent service from this company and a great product. These watercolours are handmade. They are artist quality watercolours. The paints are translucent, made of honey, natural ingredients, and with essential oils for preservation. They are ethically sourced for product ingredients. While painting under-paintings with watercolour paints for over 20 years, these excited me to want to paint more exclusively with watercolours. I have been using other watercolour paints for my under-paintings because of my lack of expertise on painting with watercolour. It will take some practice on my part to adjust to the honey based paints such as these, but I prefer a watercolour that has predictable attributes and little granulation. These perform as expected. It stays where it is put. It doesn’t run, get muddy or bloom. I will use these when I want tight control and no surprises. I am so excited that these are Canadian homemade little pots of beauty.
