Decola: Gilding Glue is acrylic based special glue made with acrylic and methacrylic acids and propylene glycol. Use it for gilding on paper, cardboard, wood, plastic, glass, ceramics and metal.

How to Use Gilding Glue:

  1. Shake and stir well before use
  2. Apply glue with a synthetic brush and let it sit for 20-30 min
  3. Apply the second coat of glue and let it sit for at least 30 min until clear tacky film shows up
  4. Apply gold leaf

This glue allows 3-5 hours of work with gold leaf before it cures.

After use, wash hands and tools with warm water and soap.
