If using the matte or satin varnish from a bottle, shake it thoroughly before application. Apply the varnish in a single direction with a brush to achieve a smooth, even surface, and limit application to one layer, as multiple layers may result in uneven sheen.

– Apply only after the paint film has dried completely (approximately 4 to 5 days for normal film thickness).
