Winsor and Newton, Artists’ Matte Varnish (75ml)

This high-quality UV-resistant artist’s matte varnish helps preserve paintings for longer periods. By sealing the microscopic pores on the oil paint surface, it offers protection against dirt and grease while creating a matte finish. It is removable for re-varnishing using solvents like Artists’ White Spirit or Distilled Turpentine. The varnish dries quickly, is non-yellowing, and will not bloom or crack. For best results, ensure the painting is fully dry (6-12 months) before application. Not suitable for use as a medium. Shake well before use.
